This short notice explains how the DUM360 website uses cookies and analytics, and how you stay in control. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. The short version
- We keep tracking to a minimum.
- No analytics and no non-essential cookies load until you give consent via the banner shown on the Site.
- You can decline analytics and still browse the Site and join the waitlist normally.
- We never sell your data, and we don’t put your name or email into analytics.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work the same way. They can remember settings or help measure how a site is used.
We group them into two kinds: strictly necessary and analytics (optional).
3. Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the Site to work safely and cannot be switched off. They do not track you for advertising. They include:
- Remembering your consent choice — so we don’t ask you on every page.
- Security / anti-abuse — to detect spam or automated bot submissions on the sign-up form (we use Firebase App Check, with reCAPTCHA).
4. Analytics (only with your consent)
If — and only if — you accept in the consent banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used: which sections people read, where sign-ups come from, and how the sign-up flow performs. This helps us improve the Site.
How we limit it:
- Consent-gated: GA4 does not load or set analytics cookies until you consent.
- IP anonymisation is enabled.
- No personal data in analytics: we do not send your name, email, phone, or message into analytics events.
- We track aggregate, non-identifying events (for example: a CTA was clicked, the sign-up form was opened, a sign-up was submitted/succeeded, and how far down the page visitors scroll).
GA4 is provided by Google. Your use of it is also subject to Google’s own terms and privacy practices.
The Site is also hosted on Firebase Hosting (a global CDN) and stores sign-up data in Cloud Firestore (Mumbai, India) — see the Privacy Policy for what that means for your data.
5. Your choices and how to change them
- At first visit: choose Accept or Decline analytics in the consent banner.
- Change your mind later: Email us at info@balaji.it to withdraw consent. A self-service cookie preferences panel will be added in a future update >.
- Browser controls: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may affect how the Site works.
Declining analytics has no effect on your ability to use the Site or join the waitlist.

We may update this notice as the Site or the law changes. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
